 A guide to finding your hidden principles

1. Roll models:

  • Think of people that had or still have a significant impact on your life. Write down the name of the first person that came to mind, then the second up to the fifth.

  • In short and below each persons name, write down what characteristic of the person resonates with you.

  • Below each of these, write a short description of what you want to integrate in your life.

2. Inspirational sources:

  • Think of words, sounds, music, movies etc. that had or still have a significant impact on your life. Write down the name of the first  that came to mind, then the second up to the fifth.

  • In short and below each source name, write down what it is about the source that resonates with you.

  • Below each of these, write a short description of what you want to integrate in your life.

1. My mother

 

What resonates with me?

No matter what I did or did not do, my Mother always where glad to see me, she was kind, loving and supportive.

 

What do I want to integrate in my life?

I would like to always interact with others in a kind, loving and supportive way.

2. Uncle Hans

 

What resonates with me?

Uncle Hans was always friendly and caring even when I gave him all the reason not to be.

 

What do I want to integrate in my life?

I would like to always interact with other in a friendly and caring way.

3. Craig Hill

 

What resonates with me?

Craig Hill, to my mind perfected the art of understanding. He never judged the person but understood that all people in essence wants to be good and do good but some need or imbalance on the deepest inside of people makes them act and react in a certain way.

What do I want to integrate in my life?

In times where people express themselves in situations as aggressive or overly friendly I would like to understand an respond in a defusing and building way.

4. Andrew Womack

 

What resonates with me?

Andrew Womack to my mind is the strongest person I know. Andrew set himself healthy values and he does not deviate from them.

 

What do I want to integrate in my life?

I would like to set values and stick to them no matter what.

1. The word "Create"

 

What resonates with me?

To make something new form nothing or from something old.

 

What do I want to integrate in my life?

I would like to see and appreciate the value in everything created and be part of the process to further develop it.

2. The word "Risk"

 

What resonates with me?

When people take a risk to expose whom they really are, their talents, their very being it resonates with me in a way that makes me become emotional.

 

What do I want to integrate in my life?

To not only have the courage and clear understanding of whom I am but to also influence other to do the same.

3. Coffee

 

What resonates with me?

Coffee lets me think of taking a break and really listening to a conversation.

What do I want to integrate in my life?

I want to be a good listener without allowing my emotions overruling my values.

4. V8

 

What resonates with me?

The roar of a V8 engine lets you understand that lasting row power is present and should not be underestimated.

 

What do I want to integrate in my life?

To tap into this power that is available within.

4. Cabin by the river

 

What resonates with me?

A cabin by the river lets me think of taking a break, sitting back, listening and reflecting on my life and remove the obstacles that blocks the flow.  

What do I want to integrate in my life?

Regular self examination and flow adjustment.
